CREAMY CHERRY FROSTING 
1 (9 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 tbsp. Kirsch or maraschino cherry juice
1/2 tsp. unflavored gelatin
Sliced almonds

Sprinkle gelatin into Kirsch or juice to soften. Heat in microwave 10-15 seconds. Cool a minute or two, then whip mixture into topping with wire whip. Frost cake, garnishing with sliced almonds. Refrigerate.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
