SCALLOPED POTATOES 
6 med. Idaho potatoes
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. chopped onion

Make a white sauce of butter, flour and milk. Pare potatoes and slice thin. Put half of the potatoes in a greased 2 quart casserole. Cover with half of the sauce. Add seasonings and onions. Add remaining potatoes and cover with sauce. Cover, bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour, uncover and continue baking until top is brown.
