CREAM CHEESE SNOWCAPS 
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 c. powdered sugar

Combine flour and baking powder. In small bowl beat butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Add flour mixture and mix well. Cover and chill 1-2 hours or until easy to handle. Shape into 1-inch balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Cool and then in a plastic bag gently shake a few cookies at a time in powdered sugar. Color (green or red) sugar crystals may be added. yield: 3 dozen.
