FUNNEL CAKE 
1 1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar

Mix and beat all until smooth. Put batter in funnel. Hold finger over the bottom of the funnel. Release finger; drop the batter in swirling circles from the center out in 2 inches of melted fat or cooking oil, at 375 degrees, until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towel and immediately sift powdered sugar over all.
