RICHARD'S PECAN PIE 
1 c. white sugar
1/4 c. maple syrup (the real stuff is possible)
1 tbsp. four
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. (or less) pecans
3/4 c. dark Karo
3 tbsp. butter, melted
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix eggs slightly and add remaining ingredients. Put in pie shell and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes and 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
