FRUIT COCKTAIL DESSERT 
1 lg. can fruit cocktail, drained
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Beat egg with fork; add to cocktail. Add sifted dry ingredients, mixing gently not to break fruit. Spread in 8 inch square pan and sprinkle brown sugar and nuts on top. Bake 45 minutes in 350 degree oven. Serve hot with whipped or ice cream.
