3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening (butter or lard)
1 egg, beaten
4 tbsp. cold milk
3 lbs. pork or 1 1/2 lbs. pork and 1 1/2 lbs. veal
3 slices bacon
2 onions
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Pinch of sage
3 tbsp. chopped parsley
