POUND CAKE 
2 3/4 c. sugar
2 sticks whipped butter
1 c. Crisco shortening
5 eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. White Lily flour
Dash of salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavor
1 1/2 tsp. lemon flavor

Cream butter, sugar and shortening until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour and salt. Add flour to mixture and milk alternately. Add flavorings. Beat well, pour into greased floured 10- inch tube pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes. Don't open oven for the first hour. Bake at 350 degrees.
