APPLE CRUMB PIE 
5 to 7 apples (5 c.)
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/3 c. sugar
3/4 c. plain all-purpose flour
6 tbsp. butter

Peel and slice apples into a bowl. Pour 1/2 cup sugar and 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon over apples and mix well. Place apples into the pie shell. Mix 1/3 cup sugar with the flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until done.
