CHERRY COBBLER 
1/4 c. soft butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. milk
1 can cherries

Cream butter and 1/2 cup sugar together. Stir into mixture of flour, baking soda and milk. Grease baking dish and add mixture. Pour juice from cherries into bowl and add 1/2 cup sugar to juice. Place cherries on top of batter and then pour juice over cherries. Cook 55 minutes at 375°F.
