APPLE CRISP 
4 c. sliced apples
1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. rolled oats
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. soft butter

Place sliced apples in a greased 8 inch square pan. Blend remaining ingredients until crumbly. Spread over apples.

Bake at 375°F (350°F for glass pan) for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm or room temperature. Top with vanilla ice cream or cool whip, if desired.
