WESTERN SKILLET RICE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. uncooked white rice
1 can (1 lb.) stewed tomatoes (2 c.)
1 c. cooked peas
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 env. Lipton onion soup mix

In medium skillet brown meat, stirring often. Stir in onion soup mix, water, rice, tomatoes, and peas. Simmer covered for 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Top with cheese. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
