1 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
1 c. sour milk
1 c. hot water
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. cocoa

Filling:

2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. 10x sugar
4 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. milk
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. Crisco
3 1/2 c. sifted 10x sugar

Mix together and bake like drop cookies. When they cool, put two cookies together with Filling in the middle.

Filling:

Beat 2 egg whites until stiff, then add the Filling ingredients and beat well.
