RHUBARB SALAD | |
2 c. rhubarb, finely cut (may be frozen) 1/2 c. water 1 c. boiling water 2 c. finely chopped apples 1/2 c. sugar 1 box strawberry gelatin 1/2 c. drained crushed pineapple 1/4 c. nutmeats, finely chopped Combine rhubarb, sugar and 1/2 cup water in saucepan and cook, covered until soft. Cool. Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Chill and add to rhubarb. Add pineapple, apples and nutmeats. Chill and serve. |
