COFFEE TOFFEE BARS 
Cream together: 1 cup soft butter and gradually add 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar.

Blend in: 1 1/2 tsp. instant coffee 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt

Add 2 - 2 1/4 cups flour to form stiff dough.

Stir in: 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Press into well greased oblong pan. Bake 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

FROSTING:

Combine: 3/4 c. powdered sugar 1/8 tsp. almond extract

Add 1-2 tbsp. milk until of spreading consistency.
