RIBBON SALAD | |
3 pkg. Jello (different flavors and colors) 1 pkg. small marshmallows 1 sm. can crushed pineapple, drained 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 c. water Use 9 x 13 inch Pyrex dish. Prepare 1 box of Jello as directed on box. Pour in Pyrex dish and refrigerate until jelled. Mix water, drained pineapple, cream cheese, marshmallows and gelatin in saucepan over low to moderately low heat. Stir until all ingredients are melted. Remove from heat and let cool. Add one very thin layer on top of first layer of Jello. Refrigerate until firmly jelled. Then pour another prepared box of Jello over second layer. Repeat until you have 3 layers of Jello and 2 layers of fruit and cream cheese mixture in between Jello. You may serve as salad or dessert. |
