1 1/2 lbs. ground beef, cooked and drained 2 tbsp. chili powder Chopped onion 1 1/2 tsp. salt Flour tortillas Chopped fresh tomatoes Grated cheese mixed white and yellow (Jack, Cheddar or Longhorn) SAUCE: 3 cans cream of chicken soup 2 cans water 1 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. sage 1 tsp. cumin Brown ground beef with chopped onion. Drain. Season with chili powder and salt. Meanwhile combine sauce ingredients and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Pour enough sauce into a greased 9x13 inch pan to slightly cover bottom. On a flour tortilla, place ground beef mixture, sauce, tomato and cheese. Roll up and place in dish. Continue until dish is full. Pour remaining sauce over filled tortillas. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, tomato and meat. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly (about 15-20 minutes). Note: Dip tortillas in hot chicken broth for easier handling. |
