FETTUCCINE A LA ROMANO 
1 lb. Italian sausage (bulk style)
1/2 lb. fettuccine
1 1/2 tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. onion powder
4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 c. sliced black olives
2 oz. sliced pimiento
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1/2 c. picante sauce

Brown Italian sausage, drain off grease. Cook fettuccine according to package direction. Drain and toss with butter. Beat eggs with salt and onion powder and mix the hot buttered fettuccine. Grease a 2 1/2 quart casserole. Press in half the fettuccine mixture. Layer with half and fried sausage and then half the cheeses. Follow with half the black olives and pimiento. Repeat layers, topping with chopped parsley and picante. Cover casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until cheeses are melted and casserole is heated thoroughly. Yield: 4 servings.
