1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 c. Pet milk
1 c. chopped pecans
3/4 c. butter
1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft caramels
1 c. chocolate chips

Mix well the cake mix, butter, and 2/3 cup milk. Press 1/2 of the mixture in a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Melt the caramels in 1/3 cup of milk and pour over baked cake. Sprinkle with pecans and chocolate chips over caramel mixture. Put rest of cake mixture over top of pecans, chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes more.
