CINNAMON RAISIN BISCUITS 
2 tbsp. shortening
3 c. flour
1 c. milk (sweet)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. raisins
1 tbsp. cinnamon

ICING:

1 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
3 tbsp. milk

Cut shortening into flour. Add cinnamon and sugars; mix well. Add milk. Stir in raisins and flour lightly. Roll dough onto a floured surface 1/4 inch thick. Cut with round biscuit cutter and place on greased cookie sheets with sides touching. Bake 10-15 minutes at 400 degrees until lightly browned.

For Icing: Mix sifted powdered sugar and milk together to form a thin liquid and spoon over biscuits while hot.
