FRIED PEACH PIES 
5 c. dried peaches
4 c. sugar
Pastry dough
Water

Combine 5 cups dried peaches, 4 cups sugar and water to cover in saucepan. Cook until tender. Let cool. Cut the dough about 5"x8". Place about 1/4 cup peaches in each crust, fold over and dampen the edges so they stick together. Fry in well greased skillet until brown. Use heavy black skillet if possible.
