ENGLISH TRIFLE | |
1 pkg. yellow cake mix 1 c. whipping cream 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberry halves 1 can vanilla pudding 1/2 c. chopped nuts Bake yellow cake in an oblong pan as directed. Cut in half. Freeze half for something later. Cut other half in 8 or 9 pieces (split each piece). Arrange half the pieces in a 1-quart glass serving dish; top with 1/2 of strawberries. Spread on half of pudding; repeat. Chill 8 hours. Whip the cream and spread over top of layered pudding, cake and strawberries. Sprinkle with nuts. |
