STUFFING - BOXED-ENHANCED | |
1 box of any brand stuffing mix- can be store brand 1 stick celery 1 carrot 1 small onion 1/2 stick butter In a small fry pan, melt 1/2 stick butter. Dice celery, onion and grate carrot on larger grater holes and add to butter. Sauté until tender and add to bowl with stuffing mix. Add enough hot or boiling water to mix and let stand to re-hydrate bread. If too dry, add little more water, if too wet, add some bread cubes. I put into Pyrex dish that has been greased or oiled. Bake until crisp on top. Easy and tasty. You may also stuff chicken or turkey. Submitted by: Joan Graeser |
