SELF - FILLED CUPCAKES 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
Dash of salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Mix cake according to package directions. Fill paper cups in muffin tins 1/3 full. Cream the cheese with the sugar. Beat in eggs and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop 1 teaspoon cheese mixture into each cupcake. Bake as package directions.

Yield 30-40 cupcakes. May use chocolate or vanilla icing.
