CROCK POT BEANS OLE! | |
1 lb. pinto beans 3-4 lb. fresh pork picnic or 2 fresh pork hocks 1 lg. onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tbsp. salt 2 tbsp. chili powder 1 tbsp. cumin 1 tsp. oregano 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies Put all ingredients in crock pot. Add 8 cups boiling water. Cover. Cook on high at least 8 hours. The longer it cooks, the better it gets. Remove meat from bone. Return to pot. Serve with soft flour tortillas. |
