"POJO" 
2 strips bacon, chopped
2 or 3 stalks celery, chopped
1 med. bell pepper, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
1 lb. hamburger
1 lg. can tomatoes
Tomato juice, as needed
1/2 pkg. (or less) vermicelli noodles
2 tbsp. Crisco oil

Saute bacon, celery, pepper, and onion in oil until steamed, then add hamburger and cook until done. Add cut up tomatoes and season to taste. (Italian seasoning, bay leaf, salt and pepper). Simmer 1 hour. Cook noodles, drain and rinse, add to meat sauce. Let simmer 1/2 hour together. Add tomato juice as needed to thin mixture. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
