OVERNIGHT SALAD | |
1/2 head lettuce 1/2 lb. fresh spinach 6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped 1/2 lb. ham, cut into strips 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, cut into strips 1 sm. red onion 1 pkg. frozen crab or shrimp (optional) 1 c. sour cream 1 c. mayonnaise 1/2 lb. grated Parmesan cheese 1 pkg. prepared sour cream and chive dip or 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream with some chives 1/2 box croutons In large bowl, layer lettuce and spinach, then eggs, ham, cheese. Top with onion and seafood. Mix sour cream and chives, mayonnaise, cheese. Spread over top to seal. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Toss before serving and add croutons. 12 servings. |
