OVERNIGHT TOSSED SALAD | |
1 head lettuce 1 lg. Bermuda onion, thinly sliced 1 lb. crisp bacon, broken up 1 head cauliflower, in florets 1/4 c. sugar 2 c. mayonnaise 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese Salt and pepper to taste Prepare night before. Tear lettuce in small pieces. Lettuce MUST be dry. Put lettuce, onion, bacon, and cauliflower in large bowl in layers. Dribble over top of salad. Do not mix through. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight. Toss before serving. Serves 8. |
