5 lb. onions (& believe it or not it doesn't taste real oniony) 4 jumbo leaves of bread, leave out overnight the night before so they dry out Meat from neck, giblets, etc., cooked & ground Salt, pepper & poultry seasoning, amount added to taste preference
Soak dried bread in water while browning onions in a frying pan that is slightly coated with oil. While onions are cooling, squeeze excess water from bread.
In large bowl, mix bread and onions. Add salt, pepper and poultry seasoning to taste. Add ground meat and mix thoroughly. If stuffing is too dry, add more water. Cook in oven for an hour, then put into turkey and cook turkey.
