CONGO BARS 
1 c. butter
1 lb. brown sugar (2 1/2 c.)
3 eggs
2 1/2 - 3 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. coconut
Nuts (opt.)

Cream butter with sugar and eggs. Stir in flour and baking powder. Add chocolate chips, coconut, nuts and spread in a jelly roll pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
