COUNTRY BEEF PIE 
CRUST:

1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano
1 lb. ground beef (round)

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pat mixture into bottom and sides of 9" pie plate.

FILLING:

1 1/3 c. instant rice
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1 c. grated cheese (cheddar sharp)

Combine rice, salt, sauce, water and 1/4 cup of cheese. Spoon into meat shell. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle top with remaining cheese. Bake, uncovered for 15 minutes longer. Yield: 5 to 6 servings.

I have reduced salt in crust from 1 1/2 teaspoons to 1. I have reduced salt in filling from 1/2 teaspoon to 1/4. I have reduced water in filling from 1 cup to 1/2.
