CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1 large (16 oz.) jar Hershey's syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Measure and sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with Hershey's syrup. Add vanilla extract. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured pan (s).

Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes. Cool.

Icing:

1 stick butter
2/3 c. evaporated milk (Pet milk, small can)
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
6 oz. chocolate chips

Bring butter, milk and sugar to boil for 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and vanilla extract. Spread on cake.
