CRANBERRY BREAD 
4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/4 c. melted shortening
1 c. orange juice
1 c. nuts
1 c. cranberries (or can sauce)

Mix all ingredients and pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour or more. On removal from oven, rub top of cake with cube of butter.
