COCONUT SURPRISE CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
1 can cream of coconut, found in Gourmet Section
1 can condensed milk
1 can crushed pineapple
1 lg. pkg. whipped topping
1 pkg. flaked coconut
1 jar maraschino cherries
1 c. chopped pecans

Prepare cake mix according to directions on the box. Bake in an oblong pan until done. Pierce cake with a fork, then pour the condensed milk and cream of coconut on the cake. Allow the liquids to run through the cake. When the cake is cool, spread on the pineapple, then the whipped topping. Sprinkle the flaked coconut on the topping, and add the cherries and pecans. Place the cake in the refrigerator. The cake is better if served cold. Keep in the refrigerator at all times.
