BUTTERMILK POUND CAKE 
3 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
5 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Mix sugar and Crisco, then add eggs. Mix all dry ingredients together and mix alternately with buttermilk into egg mixture. Add flavorings and beat 7 minutes. Pour into floured and greased tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
