BAKED HASH BROWN 
2 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 pt. sour cream
1 can chicken soup
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
2 c. crushed corn flakes

Mix 1/4 cup butter, salt and pepper, onion, sour cream and cheese; blend well. Butter 9 x 13 inch baking dish and place hash browns in bottom. Pour mixture over potatoes. Mix corn flakes and 1/2 cup butter. Spread on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
