YAMS 
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. white Karo
4-5 lb. yams
1 tsp. flour
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 c. boiling water
Salt

Cook potatoes in salted water. Cover 30-40 minutes, cut ends. Scrape off peelings. Combine above. Pour over yams. Cook 1 hour at 350 degrees basting often.
