SELMA'S BROWNIES 
1/2 lb. butter
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sifted flour
(For Passover substitute 3/4 c. potato starch; 1/4 c. Matzah cake flour)
Walnuts (optional)

Melt butter in top of double boiler or Number 2 (low) in microwave; cool. Add sugar; mix. Add eggs and vanilla; mix. Add flour; mix. Pour into 2 lightly greased 8 inch square pans or 1 lightly greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle nuts on top if you wish. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 20 minutes. Cool before cutting and removing. Passover brownies will be very moist and fudgy.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
