NATURE BREAD 
2 pkg. dry yeast
2 1/4 c. lukewarm water
1 c. raisins
3/4 c. wheat germ
2/3 c. non-fat dry milk
3/4 c. shredded carrots
1/3 c. oil
1/3 c. Grandma's molasses
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
3 1/2-4 c. all-purpose flour

Dissolve yeast in water in a large bowl. Stir in raisins, wheat germ, carrots, milk, molasses, oil, sugar, salt, whole wheat flour and 1 cup all purpose flour.

Beat hard with wooden spoon. Stir in about 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour for a stiff dough. Turn on floured board, knead until smooth and elastic (about 10 minutes). Rise in greased bowl 2 hours. Punch down. Put into two 8 x 12 inch or smaller pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
