3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
5 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
12 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. cold water

TOPPING:

2 cans cherry pie filling

Sift first 5 ingredients. Then add next 3 ingredients. The above cake can be mixed in a 9"x13" pan. Do not use a mixer. This should be mixed by stirring the ingredients with a fork. Bake 35 to 40 minutes in 375 degree oven. Let cake cool for a few minutes. While warm pierce with a fork and put cherry pie filling on, 1 can. After cooled, put 2nd can of cherries on.
