COTTON PICKIN' GOOD CAKE 
1 golden butter recipe cake mix
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
1/4 c. butter
4 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. vegetable oil

TOPPING:

1 med. container Cool whip
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained
1 lg. box vanilla instant pudding

Mash mandarin oranges and save 2/3 cup of juice. Mix all cake ingredients together. Add juice from oranges. Pour into greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. For topping, mix Cool Whip, pineapple and dry pudding together. Top both layers of cake. Keep refrigerated.
