TACO DIP 
1 pt. sour cream
1 env. taco seasoning
1 (8 oz.) bag shredded mild Cheddar cheese
1/2 head lettuce, shredded
2 or 3 chopped tomatoes
1 sm. onion, finely chopped (optional)
1 sm. jar taco sauce (optional)
Tortilla chips

Mix sour cream and taco seasoning. Refrigerate a few hours to let flavors blend. In a 9 x 12 inch dish, layer sour cream mixture, Cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and onion. Spoon some taco sauce to taste on top. Serve with your favorite tortilla chip.
