BIG APPLE BARS 
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. oats, quick or old fashioned
1/2 c. butter
2 1/2 c. thinly sliced apples
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. cinnamon

Sift together flour, salt and soda. Add brown sugar and oats. Cut in butter. Press half of crumb mixture into an 8 inch square pan. Cover with apples; sprinkle with mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Cover with remaining crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees 45 minutes. Serve warm or cooled! Good Stuff!
