1 pkg. butterscotch pudding mix (cooking kind) 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed 1 c. white sugar 1/2 c. evaporated milk 1 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 c. pecans Mix both sugars, pudding mix and butter in a saucepan. Cook over low heat until sugars melt and mixture boils. Cook gently until a small amount forms a soft ball in cold water. Add nuts and mix well. Remove from the heat and beat until it begins to thicken. Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper. |
