3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 scant c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 good tbsp. butter
1 c. raisins

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add remaining ingredients and mix with fork. Bake in buttered loaf pan at 375 degrees for 50 minutes to 1 hour. While still warm rub top of scone with butter.
