OLD FASHIONED FUDGE 
3 c. sugar
2/3 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. milk
1 pinch salt
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. peanut butter (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix your sugar and cocoa together. Gradually add 1 1/2 cup milk stirring as you add. Then put your salt. Stir constantly on high until it starts to boil. When it boils turn your burner to medium heat and stir every now and then. Cook until candy thermometer reaches soft ball stage or drop small amount in cold water and it should form a soft ball. Pour into a buttered platter or 9 x 13 inch dish.
