APPLE CRISP DELIGHT 
6 to 8 apples, quartered
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon or apple pie spice
About 1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. all-purpose flour

Place apples in buttered dish (2 quart glass size) or glass pie dish. Blend together--as for making pie dough--the butter, sugar, flour and cinnamon. Work until crumbly, then pack closely over the apples. If apples are very dry, a little water may be placed in the bottom of the dish. Serve warm with a little whipped cream or ice cream. Serves 5 or 6. Baking time is 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees.
