LETTUCE WITH HOT BACON DRESSING 
1 head lettuce
1 lb. bacon
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
2 eggs
2 tbsp. mayonnaise
1 c. sugar

Fry bacon (cut in 1-inch strips) until crisp. While bacon is frying, combine vinegar, water, eggs, mayonnaise, and sugar; beat with wire whisk or shake in jar until thoroughly mixed and creamy. Pour mixture over drained bacon and stir over medium heat until boiling and thickened. Pour over shredded lettuce and serve hot.
