GRANDMA'S CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2/3 c. cocoa (mix in boiling water to make paste)
1/2 c. sour milk or buttermilk
3 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour (bread)
1 c. boiling water (don't confuse this with what goes in the cocoa)

Cream sugars and butter, add eggs; add cocoa paste. Mix up sour milk or buttermilk and soda together. Add to top alternately with flour then add 1 cup boiling water. Mix up with spoon. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.

ICING:

1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg white
3 heaping soup spoons baking powder
3 heaping soup spoons cocoa

Use mixer and mix well.
