OVEN BAKED CHOW MEIN | |
1 lb. ground beef 2 tbsp. oil or shortening 2 med. onions chopped 1 c. celery, chopped 1 can mushrooms 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 1/2 cans warm water 1/2 c. uncooked rice 1/4 c. soy sauce 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 can bean sprouts (optional) 1 can water chestnuts (optional) Brown meat, add onions, celery, soup, and 1 1/2 cups water. Add uncooked rice, soy sauce, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Put in casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve over chow mein noodles or rice. Can use turkey, chicken, or boiling meat. |
